Nestled in the picturesque heritage town of Lismore, the SVP Hall provides a welcoming community space for cré classes and workshops. Located on Chapel Street, this listed building c.1850 features a stunning high ceiling, offering a bright and inspiring environment. With space for up to nine adults or six families, the venue is fully accessible including on-street parking, wheelchair accessibility and facilities.

Cumann Na Daoine is a community hub based on Catherine Street in the medieval coastal town of Youghal, Co. Cork. The Craft Room is located on the on the 2nd floor of CnD building, with elevator access. This bright room has space for up to eight adults or five families. The venue is fully accessible with on-street parking, wheelchair accessibility and facilities.
Glenbower Woods

Located in the village of Killeagh in Co. Cork, Glenbower Woods is an ancient, native woodland managed by the local community. Rich in biodiversity with a gentle river flowing through, the woodland offers a perfect setting for Cré Wanderings. The woodland is easily accessible with ample parking spaces.
Curragh Bay Beach
Co.Waterford
Curragh Bay is a hidden gem near Ardmore in Co.Waterford, with a lovely sandy beach and rugged coastline. Cré Wanderings take place at low tide when the ancient sandstone and limestone rocks are revealed, offering a fascinating landscape to explore and interact with. A little off the beaten track, leading to a small car park at the beach.

I offer creative spaces for families where kids aged 5+ and young teens can learn ceramic handbuilding techniques and explore their creativity together with an adult family member or guardian.
Choose between a 2 hour personalised project workshop to make a set project, or a 2 hour creative play workshop to explore your own ideas and imagination with professional support. Everyone is encouraged to express themselves and create memories together through the medium of clay.

HANDBUILDING
I offer adult 2 hour taster classes and 4 week handbuilding courses for exploring, learning and developing life-long skills in ceramic handbuilding. These classes are designed with beginners and returning students in mind, providing a welcoming and supportive space to create unique hand-built ceramics. Functional ceramic projects include homeware, tableware and handmade gifts, as well as self-directed time to bring your own ideas to life. Kiln service options are available for glazing and firing.

WANDERINGS
During the summer months, I engage groups of adults and families (with kids age 7+) in outdoor nature excursions that explore a nature-inspired approach to ceramic making. These immersive workshops take place at Glenbower Woods or Curragh Bay Beach, combining a guided walk with hands-on creative practices. During each Wandering, you’ll learn about the origins of clay, gather natural materials to use as handbuilding tools and create unique ceramics outside inspired by your surroundings.

CERAMICS IN SCHOOLS
I can work with local primary and post-primary schools to deliver a custom ceramic handbuilding workshop or a block of classes.
In close collaboration with teaching staff, I design and deliver tailored programmes that align with the current curriculum. The
Artist in Schools Scheme also provides annual funding for creative projects that nurture students' creative imagination, critical thinking and collaborative skills, as well as enhance the skills of the teaching staff involved. Get in touch for more details.
