Terms & Conditions



Making a Booking

Your place on a Cré workshop or course is secured by booking and paying in advance. Payment is via the booking link provided for your chosen workshop or course. The online payment portal "Stripe" is used to process your booking securely. Following your booking, you will receive a receipt confirmation by email within 24 hours. If your receipt doesn’t arrive, please check your spam folder before contacting me contact@siobhanjoyce.com. By booking a class or workshop with Cré, you agree to all terms and conditions.


Cancellation & Refund Policy


Bookings are non-refundable, however your place on a workshop or course is fully transferable to another person, such as a friend or family member, if you cannot attend for any reason. Please provide me with the name and email address of the person you want to transfer your space to, at least 24 hours before the class start time so that they can receive essential class info, thank you.

Bookings are not transferable from one workshop or course to another.

In the unlikely event of Cré cancelling the workshop or course, you’ll be offered a credit for a future workshop or course, or a full refund.


Gift Cards


Once you’ve redeemed your gift card code and received booking confirmation for your chosen workshop or course, you’re considered fully booked onto that event. The same T&Cs/Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to gift cards as to other bookings (see above). Please note that gift cards are valid for one calendar year from purchase date. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.


Age Suitability


Cré offers workshops and courses for both adults and families which is clearly stated on each listing. Indoor family workshops are suitable for children age 5+, while outdoor Cré Wanderings workshops are suitable for children age 7+. 16-18 year olds are welcome on all adult workshops and courses if accompanied by a responsible, participating adult. Please get in touch before booking if you have any queries regarding age suitability.


Accessibility


Cré workshops and courses take place either indoors or outdoors, the location of which is stated on the listing. Indoor venues are typically fully acessible to all including parking, wheelchair access and disability facilities. If you have any accessibility needs please get in touch prior to booking, so that I can see how your needs can be fully accommodated. Cré Wanderings take place outdoors at either the coast or woodland. Therefore a certain level of physical ability is required to walk on mixed terrain. I aim to make events accessible whenever possible, within the context and limitations of these natural settings. If you have mobility issues or other physical needs please get in touch prior to booking, so we can see how your needs can be accommodated.


Kiln Service


I offer an optional kiln service which is bookable at the end of your workshop or on the last day of your course (if it is not already included). Payment can be made in cash in person before leaving your project(s) with me to handle drying, glazing and firing. Please ensure that all your pieces are clearly marked with your initials so that you can identify them later. Ceramics can be unpredictable and while I'll do my absolute best to ensure your ceramics turn out great, variations in clay and glaze colours or textures may occur due to the nature of the firing process. Keep in mind that breakages during drying or in the kiln sometimes happen despite handling with the greatest care. Therefore, I cannot be held liable for any breakages or damages that may happen to your work during your booked kiln service. In the unlikely event that your project is affected, I will inform you immediately to discuss your options.


Collection Point


The Cré collection point for ceramics is located in Lismore, Co.Waterford. Once your project has been fired (within 2-8 weeks following your class) you will receive an email or text notification when it is ready to be picked up. Please note that you will have up to one month to collect your work at your convenience. After this period, I cannot store your work any longer, so it's important to arrange for timely collection. If you cannot collect your work in person within that time period, we can discuss the possibility of shipping it to you for an additional fee. Any uncollected work will be repurposed, donated or recycled and no refunds offered due to costs of firing.
