Looking for a unique outdoor activity the whole family can enjoy this summer? Join this family edition of Cré Wanderings along the rugged coastline of Curragh Bay and explore your creativity together in nature. Meeting during low tide, we’ll walk the shoreline to discover the ancient rock formations, uncover fossils and learn about the origins of clay. Along the way, we’ll gather natural materials and experiment with their potential as tools to shape, texture and imprint. Finally, we’ll settle down together in a quiet spot by the sea to handbuild clay vessels or objects inspired by the coast, embracing the joy of creativity in nature.


What’s Included:

• 1.5 hour ceramic-making experience at the coast
• All materials provided, including a light snack 
• Small group size (6–12 people)
• Ceramic firing for once piece per participant (unglazed earthenware)
• A family space is for 1 adult & 1 child or teen, with the option to participate with an additional child for a reduced rate*
  

*max. 2 children/teens per 1 adults, or book another family space


Age Suitability:
I welcome intergenerational groups of families and friends, suitable for age 7+. No previous experience is necessary.


Kiln Service:
Ceramic firing for one piece of unglazed earthenware per participant is included. Lead time: 2-4 weeks. Option to book the pay-as-you-go Kiln Service for any additional pieces you would like to fire.
