Discover a nature-inspired approach to ceramics during this three-hour Cré Wanderings along the rugged coastline of Curragh Bay Beach. Meeting at low tide, we’ll walk the shoreline together to explore creative ways to connect with nature and express ourselves through clay. Along the way, you’ll learn about the origins of clay, explore the ancient rock formations and gather natural materials to experiment with as tools for imprinting, decorating and handbuilding. Finally, we’ll settle in a quiet spot by the sea to create a unique clay vessel or object inspired by our surroundings, embracing a slower, more intuitive approach to making.

This workshop is open to adults of all abilities, whether you’re new to clay, a ceramic enthusiast or an artist/maker seeking fresh inspiration.


What’s Included:

• 3 hour ceramic-making experience at the coast
• All materials provided, including a light snack 
• Small group size (6–12 people)
• Ceramic firing for one piece per participant (unglazed earthenware)

Kiln Service:
Ceramic firing for one piece of unglazed earthenware per participant is included. Lead time: 2-4 weeks. Plus option to book the pay-as-you-go Kiln Service for any additional pieces you would like to fire.
